What to Do
There are a wide range of activities and days out including Anglesey Sea Zoo, the National Trust property of Plas Newydd, boat trips round Puffin Island or visit the famous RSPB reserve at South Stack Light House. The town of Beaumauris overlooking the Menai Straits has a medieval castle Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse and a Museum of Childhood memories.
Snowdonia is an easy drive by car with the National Park, Ffestiniog Mountain Railway and the slate mines all well worth a visit.
Wind and Kite Surfing
Conditions at Rhosneigr and in the surrounding area are well known to be some of the best in the UK for both windsurfing and surfing. There is a wind and kite surfing school in the village.
Golf
The Anglesey Golf Club in Rhosneigr has an 18 hole links course set amongst sand dunes and heathland in an important wildlife conservation area.
Sailing
The seas around Rhosneigr are well suited to the beginner and expert alike. Additionally the Maelog Lake affords good sailing for beginners.
Fishing
There are many sites around Rhosneigr for both shore and boat angling, offering plentiful catches.
Walking
There are lovely walks from gentle strolls along the beach to the 125 mile coastal walk around the island.
